What a valid receipt proves

Provenance and integrity: this exact HARBOUR install produced an output whose SHA-256 hash matches the receipt, from inputs whose hashes match, with the stated model, at the stated time — and the receipt has not been altered since. It does not prove the output is factually correct. Receipts contain hashes only; the prompt and output themselves never leave the customer's machine.
